Growing Start is a parent cooperative early learning playgroup for children ages 6 weeks to pre-kindergarten. The playgroupare designed to provide the following:

Opportunities for children to socialize with peers of the same age

Activities to encourage early learning (creative arts, music, movement, language and literacy)

Developmental screenings

School readiness skills
-
Resources, training, and support for parents and caregivers
Playgroups are offered in Arbuckle, and Williams. Applications now available at the following locations:

Who is eligible?

Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years

Children who are not currently being served in Head Start, State Preschool, or a licensed Child Care facility

Children who will be entering Kindergarten in 2023 will have priority for the Kinder Group program
Program Requirements:

Up to date Immunization Records

Health Screening (30 days from enrollment)

Dental Screening (60 days from enrollment)

Active participation by parent/guardian
